FOA Service Member of the Year Award
The FOA Service Member of the Year Award recognizes a military service member—active duty or veteran—who has gone above and beyond to inspire others, demonstrate outstanding commitment, and make a meaningful impact on the Face of America mission. This could be in any capacity, including as an athlete, volunteer, or supporter.
Past Honorees
2026: Gregory Gadson
Col. Gregory Gadson (USA, Ret.), has lived a life of extraordinary service. A four-year letterman and co-captain of the Army Black Knights football team at West Point, Gadson went on to serve as Commander of the 2-32 Field Artillery Battalion in Baghdad, Iraq. In 2007, while returning to base following a memorial service, a roadside bomb destroyed his vehicle, costing him both legs and injuring his right arm. Read More >
