Join national non-profit World T.E.A.M. in our annual Face of America cycling challenge to Gettysburg’s historic Civil War battlefields on April 21 – 23, 2023 presented by American Portfolios.

Equipment & Apparel

Bikes

  • We will be partnering with our amazing friends at McDowell Mountain Cycles to provide riders with options for road, gravel, and e-mountain bike rentals.
  • Bikes will be available for pick-up at packet pick-up on Friday and at the ride start Saturday morning.
  • Transportation of rentals to and from the ride will be handled by World T.E.A.M. and MMC.
  • The cost for rentals will be $95 for traditional bikes and $140 for e-bikes.
  • To reserve a bike, please call MMC at 480-272-8741, ask for Jamie, and let her know you are reserving a bike for Valley of the Sun.
  • World T.E.A.M. will provide adaptive athletes with equipment through Sun Cyclery at no charge. Please reach out to Rob for more information. 

Cycling Jersey

Each rider will receive a commemorative 2025 WTC: Valley of the Sun cycling jersey. Participants are able to select their sizes at registration. Men’s, Women’s, and Adaptive jerseys with pockets on the front are available.

Want the matching shorts? Participants who fund raise over $500 or more will be qualified to receive a pair of Valley of the Sun bib shorts. Extremely limited quantities and sizes are currently available. More sizes can be ordered after the ride on an as-need basis.
