Food

Face of America Gettysburg includes plenty of food and beverages for participants.

Friday Evening

  • The Friday evening Kickoff Banquet will be held inside at the host hotel- Hyatt Regency Crystal City at 6:00 pm.

Saturday Morning

  • Breakfast food is provided at the Hyatt Regency including breakfast sandwiches, muffins, fruits, coffee, juice, etc.

Rest Stops

  • Quick ride food like ants on a log, energy bars, and snacks are provided at each rest stop in addition to water and energy drinks at each rest stop.
  • Sandwiches are available at the midway lunch stop on Saturday.

Saturday Frederick Finish Line

  • Local food truck service provided by Traditional Authentic Mexican Food will be available at the Saturday finish in Frederick. Food available includes mini burritos with chips, taco salads, and tamales. 
  • Assorted beverages, including water and beer will be provided. 

Saturday Evening

  • Riders are encouraged to make their own dinner arrangements.
  • Adaptive athletes are provided dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Sunday Morning

  • On Sunday we will have breakfast sandwiches, muffins, fruits, coffee, juice, etc. at the Frederick Fairgrounds!
  • Some hotels in Frederick offer breakfast for Sunday morning but note the timing of shuttle back to Fairgrounds. It will be better to eat at Fairgrounds.

Sunday Gettysburg Finish Line

  • There is a Sunday post-ride party in Gettysburg at the World War II American Experience museum featuring BBQ and beverages. Food provided includes pulled pork, coleslaw, beans, and mac and cheese. Water and beer will be also be provided. 
  • All participating athletes and volunteers will receive one free meal ticket that they will use to get their meal and beverage. 
  • Meals and beverages are available for purchase for friends and family of participating riders and volunteers.
